Dam Great Job!!!!!! You guys and girls have really done an excelent job!

In an effort to keep g2a compatable with future versions.......

Since you obveously can import 1.x to g2a(n) why cant you reverse the process and convert g2a(n) to 1.x and then g2a(n) to g2a(n+1).

I hope you follow.... if not.....

In other words..... we need a method of keeping g2 data consistant throuout the dev process without having to wipe the database and pics. I realize that you are renaming things and adding new fields and the like in Alpha. But if we can reverse the import process to 1.x to give us a base line then we can reimport that 1.x data to any current version. I realize that there will be some loss of data. Mainly new features. But at least the users/albums/images will be intact.

Just a thought........

Um...

Yeah...

I'm adding that to my task list...

right...

now...

Honestly, it would be easier just to do the version to version upgrade path, and if we aren't going to do that, we aren't going to do the other, either.

Sorry. :(

That's the problem with Alpha software that really looks like released software !
It is so stable that people are eager to use it as a G1 replacement.

Maybe you could add a few bugs so that people will be waiting for the beta release before they plan to go with it !
