I have a large site with 3902 photos. The site runs really really slow running Gallery v1.3.1. I'm running PHP nuke with a random image module on my main page. Are there any current known major issues with running the 2x on PHP nuke and with using the random image module?

Performance is a key factor for me right now, should I upgrade or should I wait?

thanks!

Gallery v2 is not even in the alpha stage yet! Why would you want to put it on a production site?!?!

I am running a PN site with 4600+ images and vids amounting to about 2GB. It never really ran slow, but upgrading to b15 sped things up a little.

You will definitely notice a speed difference when you upgrade to the 1.3.2 version.
I'm surprised it hasn't been released yet. I thought I read in the mailing list that it would have been. You can download it from JPMullan's site if you need it.

It's really close... they're ironing out documentation for "Publish from Windows XP" (one of the new spiffy features in 1.3.2). The CVS snapshot is stable IMHO, but expect 1.3.2 to be released officially any day now.
