Would like full size photos to open in new browser window

When a visitor clicks on a thumbnail, they get the medium sized photo. When they click on the medium size photo, they get the full size photo. I'd like it to work so that when the user clicks on the medium size photo, the full size opens in a new browser window. This way, it doesn't break the site because i have plans for custom headers and the full size images can be REALLY big.

I know how to do this on a regular webpage...but how do I instruct Gallery to do this in EVERY album?
