Would be nice to be able to choose rounded corners for album preview and/or thumbnails. And also to get that stroke around the images as well.
Should be able to apply this by using the same program that's used for the stamp function?
You make a rounded corner with a stroke on the outside in i.e Photoshop. Then you just rotate the picture depending on which corner that's about to be rounded. Using the same program as the stamping function is using.
After that, the program apply a picture (1x1 pixel size) on the pixelrow at the very top, left, right and bottom. That should create that rounded border, shouldn't it?
It's an idea I got today when working on a design for a web layout.
Shouldn't be impossible? I mean, if you got the stamp function to work with transparent images, this wouldn't be impossible, or will it?
I don't know a friggin' sh*t about PHP code, so I don't know ;) I just figured out a possible solution for creating those rounded corners ;)

I haven't looked into the extended capabilities of NetPBM and ImageMagick, but I'm sure that we can do this without too much difficulty. Probably won't happen any time soon since we have some bigger problems to solve, first, but it would definitely be a good starter task for somebody who's interested in learning the G2 codebase.
