.htaccess wher are you

Hi,

This is probably a stupid question but I am trying to upgrade to overcome the problems with 1.2 but can't find .htaccess. Can anybody please tell me why?

Just a thought.

I use Cute FTP and I have to set the server side filtering to -a
(note that - (=dash) a))

This is the setting to 'reveal' the .htaccess file. Interestingly, my current updated version of CuteFTP does not maintain the filter I keep having to reset it. Irritating or what.
