Duplicate Photos

Rather than actually manage each inividual graphic, I would prefer to simply drag and drop an entire folder containing the images for the new album. Is there any chance of using a hash (md5), to keep a unique reference for each image? Preferably I would like to run this as a windows service, by simply applying an XML configuration to the service and utilising a web service, to transfer the data.

I have already created a windows service to update my IP address, in a similar fashion to [url]dyndns.com[/url]/[url]no-ip.com[/url], so if people would prefer this than actually having to deal with the upload manually, I would be happy to create this. Again I have found the current java app, difficult in the sense that it appears to only upload data. and not actually alter the data associated with comments and descriptions. (I have only just started using this, but it is apparent to me to lack that functionality.)
