I'm running on gallery 1.3. The upload dialogue box comes up with a default of 5 files I can upload at a time. This can be set to a max of 10.
Is there a way to modify this max? What if I want to upload 100 files at a time, say wedding proofs. It is a pain to have to upload 10 at a time.
Any help? thanks.

Why not use Gallery remote? Or FTP the files to the server and use the "add from local directory" option?
And, please, upgrade to 1.4.3

This sounds good. If I upload via ftp to a directory on the server and use this option, does gallery copy them to it's own space or just use links? In otherwords, can I safely remove the pictures from the server directory I ftp'ed to once the gallery upload is complete?
Any limitations on the max I should be aware of. I'm thinking for wedding proofs I may have like 500 photos I want to add to an album at once.
As far as upgrading to 1.4.1, I have done so much customizing, I'm afraid I'd have to start over, and dread any problems I may run into along the way. Is there a link somewhere pointing to a list of new features in the 1.4.1 version. What are the big one that may motivate me to upgrade?
Thanx

Robert1, it copies them over, so you can delete the directory after you are finshed.
If you are running 1.3.x you should upgradade, mainly because of security issues.

I just started using Gallery yesterday. Where is gallery remote and I don't see the option to 'add from local directory'....
