Treat phpBB2 users as self-registered users?

Is there a way I can treat phpBB2 users as self-registered users? Or more specifically, can I prevent most (or all, if need be) registered users from being able to create new albums?

on basicly the same note how can I allow users to create albums? at this point only phpBB administrators are able to create albums but I'd like to allow all users to create albums.

Oops. Ignore me. My test user got itself set as an administrator.
This is what happens when you have multiple people working on one system.

But somebody help this hansonc guy out.

I am looking for an answer to that question as well. If anybody knows how to achieve this, please post it here. Thanks in advance.
