Gallery 1.4.x and Xaraya integretation?

As the CMS Xaraya is getting 1.0 in a few weeks, and as Gallery 2.0 is probably a few months ago, I wonder if the CMS Xaraya integration will be avaiable also for Gallery 1.4.x? OK, I know, there is the possibility to use in Xaraya the Window Module, but for me it is important, that I can search the Gallery from within Xaraya. Danny |

i totally agree. i know xaraya users who are waiting for an importation of Gallery to Xaraya.

Yes, I for one is waiting for a Xar+Gallery integration.

i'm integrating G2 into xaraya as a module.
i won't integrate / develop for gallery 1.x. G2 is alpha now, probably beta in a few months and then at the latest most will wanna use G2 any way.
i was told you can create xaraya search plugins, don't know yet how to do it but it will be part of the integration.
my current xaraya module integrates G2 completely, for each request the webserver runs the complete xaraya code and the complete G2 code.
I hope you have php accelerators installed, otherwize it will be quite slow.
perhaps i'll create a loosely coupled integration too, where G2 runs in standalone but uses the xaraya "user" table. and xaraya would be able to search G2 too, i'll see.
