spam filtering

sorry to ask this on the gallery forum but does anyone know of a good application for spam filtering?

my buddy runs the servers which host my domains and email and i'm sure he'd be open to installing something that'll crush all that crap.

any thoughts are appreciated.

SpamAssassin is one good option. Check out www.spamassassin.org
