Can't find language pack

Hi,

I downloaded the no_NO language pack, and unpacked it to
gallery/locale/
but when I run the configuration wizzard, I get this warning:

It seems you didn't download any additional languages. This is not a problem! Gallery will appear just in English. Note: If this is not true, check that all files in locale folder are readable for the webserver, or contact the Gallery Team.

I'm running Gallery 1.4.2, Apache 1.3.28, and PHP 4.3.1
The server is running FreeBSD 4.8

My gallery is at www.krokofant.net/gallery

my no_NO directory looks like this: (ls -l gallery/locale/no_NO)

I have the exactly same problem with my finnish language pack. Has anyone succeeded in adding additional languages on Gallery 1.4.2?

I figured it out. The execute bit was not set for "others".
Btw, is there a way to have different image descriptions, album titles, etc. depending on which locale is used?
