I understand that list-serve's aren't the best way to have discussions, but they do serve some purposes-

what I need is a "gallery-v2-announce" subscription. There's way too many posts in the gallery v2 development forum; but I want to have an announcement PUSHED to me when profound version or status changes occur. I'm tracking way too many things to pull status whenever I think of it.. Usually -announce lists are perfect for this.

Any thoughts? Are the maintainers really to busy to have an -announce list??

Best regards,

Well, the gallery-announce will let you know when there is an important new version or point release. You'll receive these notices automatically just because you're a forum member. If that's not enough, gallery-checkins will notify you any time the CVS is updated to a new state. But maybe I'm telling you what you already know (?).

See the <!-- BBCode Start --><A HREF="http://gallery.sf.net/lists.php" TARGET="_blank">listserv</A><!-- BBCode End --> page.
