Can Gallery and PhpBB have the same user login?

Hello -

I was wondering if phpbb and gallery could have the same login name.

So if someone registers in gallery, they are automatically a member in the forum?

Thats all i want, so they can register for either one, and be a member on the other one.

PS - i dont want the interigation (sp?) thing. Is there any other way to do this?
