change order of albums on gallery main page

Does anyone know how to chnage the order of the albums on the main gallery pages. I know that it is set in the album.dat file in the albums directory. but it wont allow me to upload the edited file. I would appreciate any help with this.

Why not just log in and move it with the [move album] option that appears beside each album? Might be easier...
