**New** icon showing new/changed albums?

I have a site with 7 top albums and 43 sub-albums and around 2250 pictures right here. A couple of these albums I keep adding pictures to them, but there is nothing indicating that new pictures have been added.

I would love it if gallery had the ability to display a little *New* icon in the album/sub-album description to show that new pictures were added.

ME TOO - this is a major failing within Gallery 1.x, and I am amazed nobody else has screamed for this simple feature !

I haven't yet attempted to modify the old code (as mentioned in floridave's post) into the latest version - but it seems to be fairly easy
