When using regular apache-password-protection via .htaccess files you are able to write the login and password right in the URL-line to not having to login via the login box. Like: http://login:password@www.server.com
No box will appear, you will be logged in right away.
If you have a few albums that are protected via the gallery-permissions, so that only certain logged in users can view them, how can you apply those login/passes to a direct link?
Some people, that are pretty new to computers, find it hard to login and view my albums. Therefore it would be easier if I could just give them a link with the login/password included, so they just have to click on it.
What exact link should I use, direct to the album, or to the album index-page or what?
Know what I mean?
