I found a site that removed the "Powered by Gallery v1.4.1" and put their web design companies logo. i found this a little offensive cause they are taking credit for all the Gallery Developers work.
is this against the usage policy of gallery? if so i will post the url or email Bharat.

Thanks for letting us know, but it's fine. They have every right to do as they wish with the code.
But, an URL might be nice anyway, so we can see what customizations they have done!

I like the way they customized that area, great animation. Kudos to their design team. But, doesnt seem to mention that the gallery was actually designed by them, doesnt seem to be any big deal really.

bdlab, they are free to do anything they like with the code, including removing the "powered by". The only limitation is that if they redistribute it, the modified source should also be available.

Colour me confused...
It looks like they added a flash animated header and footer and changed some css? Hardly anything complicated. (Ironically, the design team has spelling mistakes on the front page of their own site).
Was there something about the design I'm missing?
:-?
