Gallery Configuration

Would it be possible in the gallery configuratoin to change the checks to allow:

$gallery->app->photoAlbumURL = "/gallery";
$gallery->app->albumDirURL = "/albums";

Right now, i have to enter a full url, and then manually edit the config file to the above.
