Denied Access to album should redirect to login/root page

Let say I choose to do not authorised "All Users" to access "dd" Album.
When I am logged as admin, I can of course access it through page : http://liquid-alu.local/gallery2/main.php/view/dd/.

Imagine that your session times out, and then with your browser you are typing your gallery url, of course as it is a modern browser it propose you the link

As for testing purpose it is interesting to get these information, but will it be possible be redirected to a nice page which proposed you to authenticate again, insteed of this nice error ? :D

We'll handle permission denied in a much more graceful way. Right now there are no landing pages for any errors. When G2 is final, we'll have landing pages for all errors and will be able to take the appropriate action depending on what kind of error we get. There are several other errors that we want to handle more gracefully (and then a whole bunch that we want to put up some kind of nice "something bad has happened -- talk to the sys admin" kind of page).

if i understand this correctly, you currently have (g2.3) go to the login page. where in the code can i have it bring the timed out user back to the main home page as opposed to the login page. or to the albums main page. or to a completly different url. (as i continue to search)

The behavior has changed a lot. This thread was started almost 6 years ago :) This was G2 Beta or Alpha.

If you are having issues, please start a new thread and fill out the support template.
