I get the message "Gallery Remote can find no protocol implementation at the URL ...". Searching the docs gives the hint at http://codex.galleryproject.org/Gallery_Remote:FAQ#I_get_.22Gallery_Remote_can_find_no_protocol_implementation_at_the_URL_....22 but that doesn't help. Logged in as admin, there is absolutely no "Site Admin," then "Plugins," "Get More Plugins," find "remote control". Reason for all this: my old Linux server is near to death and I want to run my gallery on my Qnap nas. But that is so slow, that picture resizing aborts. The idea is now: doing all the upload work with my pc, which is fast. Viewing the gallery with the nas is ok, only the upload is a problem. Can anyone please help me to get GR running with my gallery? Thanks a lot. Hans. |

I have never used G1.5.7 in almost a decade. Use a different upload method.

Wow! Thank you so much. Never expect help when you find errors in such type of software...
I will better search for a complete replacement of the slow and faulty Gallery project.

I guess that you could have updated the free software that has had many free updates that we have recomended of the many years and years.
