On a few posts I requested feedback on how to implement a comment spam finder but did not receive any feedback.
I don't allow guests to comment so I did not know the extent of how to implement a module for others, so this is what I came up with. Feedback is welcome now this is developed with no feedback on how to do it from a UI perspective.

A new admin page is created and the admin can search & filter & sort comments to find spam. Once found the admin can permanently delete the spam.
Yes you can delete more than one comment at a time.

I use the Akismet module to deal with catching Spam right now (and it seems to catch them all) but the one thing it doesn't do is show the IP address of where the spam came from so I can ban it (I suppose I could get into the code and make it do so). Does this module show that and does it work with or interfere with Akismet. To be honest, I haven't even tried using it yet. Just curious.

After reading your description more, think I initially misinterpreted what it really did. This doesn't look at new comments (like Akismet does), but looks in already approved comments (that Akismet missed or something) and to mark/delete them as spam?

Yes.
Others have issues with using Akismet ( 3rd party / word press fear ). I still recommend the Akismet module as you and others have had great success with it, so you might not need this module.
