Albumtree does not remember state of the tree between pages

Dear forum members,

Recently I have installed Gallery 3 and nearly everything works fine, as it did in Gallery 2.
What puzzles me is that the dtree function of the albumtree module does not remember the page you navigate to. It collapses as soon as you hit a link.
I have tried to find the answer at the home of the script (destroydrop.com), but all it says is that it should remember the state of the branch (node?) and indeed in the demo, at the bottom of the page, it does. The site itself is under construction.
Does anyone know how to fix this? My site is beeldbank-dhc.nl. It is installed on a windows server (sorry).

does changing
albumTree.config.useCookies = false;
to
albumTree.config.useCookies = true;
About line 393 of the albumtree_block_dtree.html
work?

I guess only if your in the EU or UK http://www.cookielaw.org/the-cookie-law/
