In search module, how to make it more strict?

Hi,

I've recently tagged my photos according to their color. Apparently there could be more than one color defined in a picture.

Say for example I tagged one photo with "white-metal" and the other with "yellowwhite-metal."
Now when i search for "white-metal" I get all the results for both white-metal and yellowwhite-metal tagged photos.

Also I can no longer use single color tagging like yellow, white, blue, etc. because they are already being used. So I came up with adding the -metal suffix which does not work.

Can anyone help me?

Thank you!

What if you search with quotes?

Try using "+white-metal" in the search box.

See: http://codex.galleryproject.org/Gallery3:Modules:search
and the linked MySQL Documentation, there you should find a solution.

Thank you that worked well. Although I have decided to abbreviate the colors instead. I will take note of this if I find another problem in searching.

Again thank you!

don't make them too short or you will have to use:
