Not Picking Up All Photos When Migrating from G1 to G3

I am just finishing up a migration from G1 to G3. I used the script g1_import to migrate my 616 photos presently on my old G1. The g1_import script worked well for about 375 photos. The remainder did not get picked up. After troubleshooting, I determined that the newer photos which had a default file name such as DSC_0330.JPG were the photos which were not picked up, and my older work which have actual names for the file name (such as old_wishing_well.jpg) did get picked up. Does anybody know a way to pick up the remaining photos, without manually reloading them? All assistance is appreciated. |

Actually, I need to update this. After some more troubleshooting I determined that some images with a DSC_### file name did get picked up, so there seems to be not pattern to what did and did not get migrated. I do note that after the initial migration I received a message stating some files were old and needed to be repaired. I ran that function and the return showed about 275 files were "fixed," which seems to correspond to the files I am now "missing" in my G3 migration.

Is it the G1 import module you are using?
I have never used the G1 import module. So your missing files but they just don't show or what? A url might help.
did you read the forum thread about the module?

yes, I am using the G1 import module. I read something about the G1 import script in the forums, that was how I located it originally.
The files were in my G1 album directories, but they were not picked up and loaded into my G3 package. I started the migration with 616 photo images. They all apparently loaded, but after the migration was complete I saw a errror message stating that 250 files "were old" and needed repairing. I ran that repair function, and afterwards discovered that a certain number of photo images were not in my G3 gallery. It looks to be over 200 images, so I'm wondering if teh file repair function has anything to do with this.

Overall, it appears that "newer files" (those loaded over the past couple of years) were not picked up. None were over 10M file size.
