Can somebody help me to understand giving permissions to individuals to add photos to an album? Is there documentation that explains the difference between users and groups and how to use this function? I have a gallery that has 20 albums. I would like to give permission to an individual to add images to just their album. What is the process to allow this? |

I think that the permissions are only based on groups and not on users. In your case, you would have to create 20 groups and add one user per group to get the effect you want. Then you would have to set up the permissions for the 20 albums.
Based on the description of your situation, I'm going to guess that you are hosting the gallery and have 20 "registered" users. You might be able to get something close to what you want by using a combination of the "user chroot" and "user homes" modules, although I've never used either so I'm not 100% sure.
