[SOLVED] I moved gallery3 and now my thumbnails are broken

I moved my gallery a directory over along with the mapping of my URL and now almost all my thumbnails are broken.
The broken thumbs seem to be just at the top level of each album
Other images are fine.

I am in the process of rebuilding all thumbnails, but that does not seem to be doing anything.

Here is what I did

mywebsite.com/gallery3
Changed gallery3 to another directory
mywebsite.com/d7/gallery3, but I remapped the URL to go directly to the d7 directory.

So the original directory and my new directory both still are at mywebsite.com/gallery3

When I try to view that specific thumbnail in another page, I get a 403 forbidden. You don't have permission to access...

Possibly it's a permissions problem on the thumbnails directory?
