[SOLVED] Uploaded files missing tags

Hi guys, I'm uploading files to my Gallery that I have tagged in Windows Explorer, however once they have been loaded into the Gallery, it seem that some images retain these tags while others drop them. I've tried loading images the usual way (add photos) and via the 'server load' option however both have the same outcome. I did a bit of a search to see if I could find a reason for the behaviour. Given some images have succesfully loaded with their tags, I'm assuming that Gallery is capable of processing tags applied offline into the gallery version. Any advice would be appreciated - The Gallery has 4000+ images and I find it easier to apply the tags offline |

Short answer: I don't know. If some are recognized but others aren't, I'd guess that something is different about the files. Maybe some are input as iptc and others as xmp?

If none of that works, next step would be to upload example images: one that works and one that doesn't work.
