After much time off and several hacks on my old server, I broke down and bought a better machine. After loading everything up I couldn't get the nice URL's like I had the last time (1.3.5). After searching the FAQ and boards none of the solutions worked.

I then searched the site where I got the Apache/MySQL/PHP package(phpdev423) at for more info. the forums at firepages.com.au led me to believe the package was orphaned. No replies from the Developers for a year.

Did find others were having the same .htaccess issues. Found a link to
http://www.apachefriends.org.

Installed and added Aliases/Aliasi/? for the forum, gallery, and
phpwebsite and also added the "AllowOverride Options Fileinfo"

Hope this helps some......
