database problem

Hi,
I created my gallery some months ago and everything was OK. Now, When a photo gets uploaded, there is no thumb in the album but You can see the image in full size without the watermark however. The thumb image, exists normaly in the var dir. In the database You can see the new image, but in the thumb place, there is NULL. If I manually change that the thumb appears in the album. I can not figure out where the problem is... Also I tried a new installation with Gallery 3.0.9 with a new database. Everything worked OK.

I've disabled the watermark module and it is working again now. Got a clue from logs (The specified image, vouhead-gallery-watermark.png, is not an allowed image type.) Why... I do not know!

Meaning that the watermark module works with Gallery 3.0.9, but not with the other version of Gallery you were using?

At february when I created the gallery (Gallery 3.0.4 Ricochet) the watermark (version 2) was working ok http://gallery.vouhead.gr/index.php/ Few days ago I found out the above problem. In the mean time I did not had any images to upload, so I do not know when the problem started. Maybe after a server software upgrade. Also I tried the Gallery 3.0.9 and as I already said the watermark works fine. I want to post more but I get the spam warning...

Not enough info there for me to help narrow down the issue. Best I can say is that upgrading is a GOOD thing; if it works with 3.0.9, I'd recommend backing everything up and upgrading your version of Gallery.

I understand and thank You for trying helping me. I think that the problem has to do with a server upgrade, in some point, because everything was ok before and I did not change anything in my Gallery. Maybe a security issue stops the writing in the database, because the thumbs and resized images are normaly in place. However, as You recomend and I agree with that, an upgrading to the last version is the best solution. The last thing I want to say is that Gallery is really a very handy way to handle images and videos. I am very satisfied with everything I done so far!
