Self Printing Album Mod

Hello - I think the answer to this is NO but let me give it try anyway.

I have a family history site which is made up of three programs tied together to appear as one. The sign in for registered users is the main program TNG, which handles all the facts, dates, etc.. From there they can go to Gallery 3 for pictures and then to WordPress for pieces I, or ancestors, or others have written about a particular subject, in more detail. All works fine.

Occasionally, I meet someone on line that I would like to share my info or pictures with but I do not want to give them access to the entire site. With a WP "blog" I can just print it out. It certainly is not as pretty as what is on the site, but it is acceptable.

I am wondering if there is something that can print an album, with its photos and it's descriptions, such as mentioned above. The quality only needs to C to C+. I am reading about all the services available, but for what I want, they are overkill.

Thanks for any suggestion anyone may throw at me.

Jim

http://codex.galleryproject.org/Gallery3:Modules:proofsheet
but I don't know if it has the titles and descriptions or not.

Thank you Dave - If I understand it correctly, it makes the PDF on the fly and then downloads it to the user provided he has proper rights to the site.

1.) I want to be able to print a pdf of the album and email it to the person
2.) Don't want to give a "stranger" permission for whole site when we only have a common interest on a couple of pictures and artist.

Thanks! I am in the "Ps" of the mod listing....doesn't look hopeful:)

You save the PDF yourself. Give it a name and email it to a user.
I don't see how you can print a PDF and then email it. Just email the PDF and the user print it or view it on the screen.

Pardon me, I am using printer dialog box jargon when I say that because that is the way my software deals with it. You can actually save as a pdf or postscript file and it is done in the Print...section.
