Hello,

I found this thread http://galleryproject.org/node/83962 which seems to be the same as what I'm experiencing.

My host migrated my site to a new server and now I can't save any changes in the [checkout] config page. The thread shown above resulted in changing from cPanel to virtuadmin, but since the old server was running cPanel as well I don't think that is the problem this time. Also, that thread is from 4 years ago, so I would guess that I have a newer version of cPanel on my server.

Tech support at my host said they set max_input_vars = 2000 in the global php.ini but it's still not saving the changes. Is there a certain PHP setting that I should ask them to check?

Thanks.

You'll need to update your gallery to 2.3.2 for PHP 5.3.x support.
FAQ: How to upgrade Gallery2?

Thanks suprsidr.
I think my web host came to a similar conclusion.
The cure, however, was changing my server PHP back to 5.2.x
All's working well again.

Eventually, I'll have to upgrade, but not in the middle of my busy season....
