I have just installed Gallery3, with content imported from my Gallery2 database. All the rich text formatting (HTML) I have on my G2 descriptions on Album and Photo are now appear as plain text. Please oh please do bring back the rich text formatting feature to G3: HTML and BBCode. This is very important for the purpose of my gallery; I need to be able to link texts. I have thousands of images in my gallery and to have to manually edit/remove the HTML from each description one by one is just too time consuming.
Thank you very much!

Thank you very much! Encounters a problem though. i activated the purifier and edit_tinymce modules at the same time, by ticking the boxes then clicked Save. Got a warning mentioned about purifier and afterward my Gallery 3 appears blank! i can't access my gallery anymore now... so cannot roll back from Admin! What to do?

OK, found out the culprit but I have no way to fix it since I am not a programmer... I tried deleting the offending module but it didn't help so I reuploaded it again. How to solve this?

I can't get the photo annotation module to install, so can't even test to help you out.

Same... looks like it's not supported or maintained any longer...

Looks like there was a name change from photo_annotation to photoannotation and some file names as well.
Perhaps the author can sort it out or make some suggestions to fix.

The codex links to the forum for the files yet there is a gallery-contrib repository that the gallerymodules.com site uses I suspect.

Yeah, I got it from the gallerymodules.com site and if I remember correctly the file was from the git...
Anyway, I just reinstalled gallery3 on a new directory now, then imported from my gallery2 again. Is there a way to find out whether a module is valid or not? This made me worried in installing modules now...
Thanks for all your responses, guys! Much appreciate them
