What module do you need to update? What prompted the upgrade?

here yo ucan see there are no admin buttons, no upload or create album buttons,
and that my modules need updating..

Looks to me like some JS issue as the menus are generated with JS and the other menus including the "home" button is as well.
Send login info so I can test.

OK I got it from the screen shot.
What prompted the upgrade? out of the blue or did you add/chnage some code?
Have you upgraded before? If so did that work?

Run the 'fix your gallery' task and see if that helps. It might stall so you might have to restart it.

Could be a corupt file(s) as well. Overwrite all the 3.08 files to the server again with a fresh download.

if that does not help we will have to dig into the DB a bit.
