3.0.6 [SOLVED] Search problem

I have a search tag "T. Rex". Four videos are tagged with this. If I search using this tag, it comes up with no results. Does the search feature have a problem with periods in the search tags?

Also, if a tag has a single letter, there are way too many search results, even if the search tag is typed in completely. For example: "Susie Q" brings back 32 search results instead of just 1 result.

Can quotation marks be used to indicate a tag should match exactly?

I don't know about periods but

Thank you, Dave. That did the trick!! And it also fixed the search problem with "T. Rex" tag.
