Moved to new server, with new database name, what now ?

Hello.

Soo i have moved to new server due to high prices on the old one. New is ONE. com

And i found out after, that i could have only one db, and it's named different then the db on old server.
Thinking i need to change some files in the gallery directory now, right ?

But witch ones :?

And/if are there anything else i need to change ?

gallery3/var/databsse.php will have the DB info that you should be able to edit to the new name/host/prefix etc.

Site up and running now, but some strange errors i can see... Thumbs on index page is messed up, and some albums and pictures (not all) is 'write protected' it says
:/
i did run all of the maintain tools under admin meny aswell.

any idea ?

Most likely a issue when you transferred the files to the new server. Your transfer program (FTP?) was most likely not set to transfer hidden files like text files.
Album highlight images are named gallery3/var/thumbs/<album name>/.album.jpg

You can do one of 2 things;
1. transfer the .album.jpg files again selecting the correct transfer mode (Image mode (commonly called Binary mode) not ASCII mode).
2. go to each album and select a different image to be the highlight and then select the correct image over again. If you run into a error it is most likely a file system permissions issue on the /gallery3/var/* directories.

I got most of the gallery working good.. But it seems like all the albums with the letter <code>Ø</code> is set to writeprotected (Norwegian letter), and will not show the images in that album...
file permission is set correct 755..
i have tryed makeing new album without that letter, and move files to that album. but thats not working.. have also tryed renaming album in ftp...

hmmmmmm
