I am trying to get the menu text in this picture to be darker.

I know that if I change the "color: #ffffff !important;" to "color: #5382bf !important;" it will make the menu color readable but it also changes the other links to that blue color (#5382bf) and I want them to be white. I have looked all over and have had to hard code the #ffffff in several places to get the color right. I also tried changing the background on that menu to a darker version but that didn't work either. Can anyone help?
