How do I download Folder_Sync?

I'm feeling very stupid. I can't figure out how to down load the module folder_sync. Running it will be another issue.
What is git and how do I get the module onto my server? I understand zip files and the like but git????
Help get me past first base please.

The author should push his module to the gallery-contrib repository. Then it would show up on gallerymodules.com anyway...
Go to https://github.com/siburny/gallery3 click files and you should see a zip file to download. It might have more that the one module. Extract the module to your modules directory.

I was going to the folder_sync folder not the zip file at the bottom of the list.

Please update the docs so others can benifit. I have not used the module so I'm not in a good postions to do so.
It is a great way to contribute. Just login with your forums username/password.
