I was using ver 2.3. I followed instructions and downloaded v2.3.2. Replaced the orginal upgrade folder with the new one from the download (extracted). Then I ran the /gallery2/upgrade, and it upgraded me to v2.3.1.
I repeated the process, but I cannot get to v2.3.2. What do I need to do? Thanks.

this is not what the instructions tell you to do.
You need to overwrite the entire codebase with the new version, not just the upgrade directory.

Thanks for your quick response. Here was what I did:
I downloaded v2.3.2 into shumtravel folder (which holds my gallery2). Extracted it. In shumtravel folder, there are now 2 gallery2 folders, the original one, and the new one from the extract. I opened my gallery in the web. No upgrade process, just my normal gallery. I searched the forum here, and there was one post that says to replace the original upgrade folder with the new one from the extract. I did, and opened in my web /gallery2/upgrade, and it did the upgrade to 2.3.1.
So, how do I overwrite the entire codebase with the new version? If I replace the existing gallery2 with the newly extracted one, I will have to perform a new install, not an upgrade. Please provide more details. Thanks.

that's impossible, they cannot have the same name.
You need to overwrite the files in your original gallery2 folder with the corresponding files from the new archive.
If you have customized a theme make sure you back it up first.

Thanks. It works. I am now in v2.3.2.
I downloaded v.2.3.2 into my shumtravel folder which holds my gallery2. The extract created a gallery2 (2). For future reference, where should I have placed the v2,3,2.zip file in?
