Mangled 2.1.x installation -- any hope of recovery in 3.0?

	I was put in charge of a server where there are some traces left of an old Gallery 2.1.x installation. The application files have been erased (!) but the 'g2data' folder has been preserved. The old database that was linked to this gallery has also been preserved. Now, I have a fresh install of version 3.0.4 in a separate folder and it's up and running fine. Is there any way to import the old data (strictly albums,pictures and their captions)? I'm familiar with SQL, but I don't have shell access. Thanks for your time.

	You should be able to just replace the missing application files if the g2data and database was working. If that does not work then the g2 import module will not work, that will only allow you to use the server add module.
