rectangle thumbs

I uploaded rectangle_thumbs and resized all my thumbnails worked amazingly well...However I don't like how it looks. So went back to square_thumbs, but none of my thumbnails changed. I deleted the module in the vain hope that this would sort it, It didn't, so I went to the advance settings in dashboard and changed the the aspect ratio to 2:2 instead of 3:1 nothing happened. I want to rebuild my images so the the square thumbnails are working. Is there any way for me to do this?
Or is there a way for me to delete everything about rectangle_thumbs totally from the system.
