opening random image in a new window

(Surprisingly) I got the Random Picture working almost immediately on my site`s front page but my problem is that it refuses to open the image in a new window, preferring to try and open it in the iframe where the image is held.

I have tried to change the target to _blank but doesn`t make any difference.

I`m also still having major problems viewing in IE (having to use Mozilla to get it working) although I know h0bbel (from the other forum) could see the gallery using IE ..
