I have forgotten the username and password and when I did I went to reset it to the desired ones and can't sgn in with the new ones. When it says reset password it asks for a username??? and then says email sent?? I get no emails when I put my email address in instead of the username which I forgot anyway. Drop the attached file to your_site/gallery2_folder/lib/support, change the extension to ".php", navigate to the file with your browser (h t t p://w w w.your_site.com/gallery2_folder/lib/support/password_reset.php) and follow the onscreen instructions.
NOTES:
1. The script disables the captcha module if installed so you have to remember to reactivate this after if in use.
2. It will also clear your cache so the site may be a bit sluggish afterwards if a large site depending on caching for speed.

I don't have gallery 2 I have an older version and there is no support folder.

So why did you post your question in the section of the forum that says "Gallery 2 Support » Administration and Maintenance"?

It was by accident. I take it that they are both very different then?
