When in Photo page associated with Tag album - how to get access to a full list of items in associated tag album

In Wind theme when visiting photo page of Tag based collection (standard, not rWather's module) - how can we get access to full collection

$item->parent()->children() is not correct here...

Would G3 team consider introducing $theme->dynamic_siblings() in this case or something of the sort?
Perhaps in addition to $theme->item(), we can have $theme->siblings() for all collection and item pages?
This would include albums, tag albums, search albums, item (photo/movie) pages, and paginator...
