http://codex.gallery2.org/Gallery3:Modules:slideshow The slide show shows the largest version of the picture available - which makes it all load too slowly. I need the cooliris slideshow to play the preview sizes of 640x480 (which are the default view in gallery3). How do I do this please? |

As always, thanks for the quick reply dave. The notes down there are the type of solution I'm hoping for, but for a different problem. When the pictures are too small, they can be up-scaled. I have big pictures that come up default. When someone clicks on the rescaled (640x480) pictures outside of the slideshow, they get the largest version, scaled to the full screen. BUT I want the slide show to come up with the 640x480 pictures, not a rescaled version of the largest picture.
I hope that makes sense. Thanks again.

I guess a URL to show the behavior in a test album with the various sises you are talking about might help.
We might might not be able to change the behaviour of the cooliris JS to get what you are after.

Sure sure.

(Then hit the play button in the top right)
Is the gallery in question. The upstream pipes I have on the server are 768kbps, so I need smaller versions to load of the pictures in the slide show - like the 640x480 versions that are on the picture preview page like this page
640x480 version: http://kerlee.com/gallery/var/resizes/drew/2012/DSC_0492.JPG?m=1338864742
full size version: http://kerlee.com/gallery/var/albums/drew/2012/DSC_0492.JPG?m=1338864737

did you edit the code from the docs?
Change line 52 to: <? $view_full = false; ?>

I don't know what my problem is. I thought I did it. Well, I did it again, and now it behaves exactly how I'd like: Slideshowing the resized versions only.
Thank you for your patience. Excuse my insolence.
