Hi all,

I have a gallery 3 instance running as a press gallery. The users should be able to download the full resolution photos and logos.

When using chrome I can enter the gallery (after logging in), choose an image, click to get the full resolution image (js effect) and then right click on that image and choose "Save image as" or "save file as"... you get the point...

When using Firefox though (and I am doing the exact same steps) I end up that on right clicking on the large image version the large image immmediately disappears and I am saving the preview image. This seems like an javascript issue here. Can someone give me a hint if this is intended or how to remove this bug!?

kind regards

Sven

http://codex.gallery2.org/Gallery3:Modules:downloadfullsize would be a better option.

Hi Dave,

yes I have seen and installed it. It's working very well.

However I keep getting calls from people who try to download it the "usual" way...

I think that is a JQuery FF issue. Perhaps another theme that does not have that behaviour is what you are after.
If you can find a modal window using Jquery that has the behavior you want let me know and I might be able to see if I can develop a new theme.

I'm having the same problem here. And unfortunately, in my case, a vast majority of visitors are using Firefox!

@Floridave -- You said, "Perhaps another theme that does not have that behaviour is what you are after."
How do I do this? I'm not all that great with this yet!

Thanks in advance for your help. :-)
Best,
M.Carter

Have you read any of the documentation on how to install a theme?
