Module:Register - Notification for waiting approvals

Hi,
is it possible to receive an email (to admin) if a new user reigstered and this registration is waiting for admins approval?

At the moment i have to look everyday if there is waiting any approval

Would be great if somebody can help!

The notification module might have a setting for this, never tried.

Unfortunately not! Or i am too stupid to find it ;) But i think the right place for de-/activation should be in settings of the modul. The notification - modul does not know if or not the register - modul is installed?!

Hi,
nobody out there who has an idea or a solution? Maybe a "quick & dirty" solution, a workaround until the author of the modul might add this essential feature? Maybe the email to registering users as a BCC to the admin? I would atleast know THAT a new user registered and is waiting for aproval

I guess it could be possible. How much coding experience do you have? Have you looked at how the registration module sends mail?

I'd certainly be interested in this, too! I took a look at the code and see what needs to happen. I'm a bit swamped this week, but perhaps next week I can do it.

thanks for this good news! Would be very, very great because the use without notification is senseless - only stress with new users if you dont look for new registrations every hour

By the way: if you see the error that "Default Group" does not work on your search for the notification -> great too!

Hey everyone,

Sorry for my delay in getting to this... I've been insanely busy lately. However, I intend on getting to this soon as one of the things I've been insanely busy with (getting married) will, in fact, require this to be done in the near future (sharing wedding pictures). I'll keep y'all in the loop!

hope you have had a great, funny marriage and enjoyed this great day!

THANKS for your work regarding this modul. I tried to install / update but it does not work?!

a. The automatic updater appeared. I clicked on "Update" and got back a blank, white site. Nothing happened.
b. I tried to update manually (copied the new register_2) to modules -> opened "Modules" as admin but if i activate the "Register - Module" the Update-Button is deactivated. Nothing happens if i click on Update. If i deactivate the Register-Module (not marked in the list of modules), the Update-button works.

Did i make any mistake or is there a small bug anywhere in the new/updated module?

Thanks for any response and have a great rest of the sunday ;)

Drat - I left an extra parenthesis in the installer file. Sorry about that! The zip file on the module page (http://gallery.menalto.com/node/108884) has been updated.
