Not sure if this is the right place but does the Gallery work on wordress and if so is there a plugin.

Yes WP is on the list for G2: http://codex.gallery2.org/Integration

Thanks Dave,

At the moment I use nextgen Gallery will it have similar features have you a website I can see with gallery on it.

It would be good to have a different option for a photo gallery the problem I find with Nextgen is the installation process I have used it on many websites and sometimes it works straight away and then sometimes you have to go through all the options and multi trys at uploading images which is frustrating.
