Cannot connect Gallery3 to its database

	When setting up Gallery 3 the install software refuses to recognize the user ID and password for the database.

	I am having the same issue. Gallery 3.0.4 won't install because it can't connect to the database. Other gallery2 installs are working just fine and I even did a test install of gallery2 on the same server and it worked 100 percent. The database used (for v2 test) was EXACTLY the same I attempted to use with v3.0.4. The server uses PHP with safe mode deprecated. When trying to install g3 on the command line, it has that info in the error message. Any help is appreciated. wxmanunr

	Do you have any logs from the database? It could tell you why it can't connect.
