Hello,
I am very confused that view slideshow does work from all webbrowsers on Windows XP but not from any webbrowser from a Linux desktop Fedora Core 16. The Gallery 3.0.3 installation is on a webhotel one.com with URL:
http://gallerigate.com/gallery3/
The webbrowsers both has Shockwave Flash installed. More confusing is that the view slideshow works from both webbrowsers on a Gallery 2.3.2 installation. I like to use the Linux desktop for all my testing, but now I have to test from a windows system. Can anyone help, or must I install the Gallery 2.3.2 version?

As suggested i put a crossdomain.xml file in the webservers root. It had no effect on the original problem. I found in the messages file on the linux desktop the following when I klick the view slideshow:

"saved core dump of pid 3898 (/usr/lib/nspluginwrapper/npviewer.bin to /var/spool/abrt/ccpp-2012-06-20-10:12:00-3898.new/coredump (54616064 bytes)
abrtd: Directory 'ccpp-2012-06-20-10:12:00-3898' creation detected
abrtd: Blacklisted package 'nspluginwrapper'
abrtd: Corrupted or bad dump /var/spool/abrt/ccpp-2012-06-20-10:12:00-3898 (res:2), deleting"

This makes me belive that my problem is at the client side the webbrowser computer.
Have anyone tried to access a Gallery 3 from a webbrowser on a linux computer and managed to view slideshow without problems, if so what browser and settings did you use?

SOLVED!
It was a webbrowser client issue!
On my Fedora Core 15 desktop I removed the nspluginwrapper-1.4.4-3.fc15 (i686) package. The View slideshow started working perfectly. I will try this on my fedora core 16 computer as wwell.

On the fedora core 16 computer it didn't work at all if I removed the nspluginwrapper. I then removed the flash-plugin package, downloaded 64 bit linux package from adobe, installed it and then removed the nspluginwrapper. NOW IT WORKED!!! Does anyone knows what the nspluginwrapper is used for, am I missing some other functionality?
