Looking for easy way to add album externally... Can anyone

I've tried just including the class files and creating a new AlbumDB but there are a lot of depandacies in the class files. (which doesn't make sense to me from a OO standpoint) Is there good source of documentation or can someone give me an example of what an external call might look like to create and configure a new album externally? I'm trying attempting to do is make a new album every time a new postnuke user registers...
